GP: Tell us about your new music project!

Gloss Up: I'm so excited about my project! Most of the songs on my project came from me, When I was happy, when I was sad, when I was up, when I was down. I took my time and wrote it and put it together, it's very versatile. I think it's for the everyday girl. I think they will like it.

GP: So what’s your favorite song on the EP? Any cool features?

Gloss Up:  have three features on my project, I got Skilla Baby, Funcho, and Jacquees. So on my project I got this song called Baddest, and I just feel like when you listen to that song, it makes you feel like you that girl!  Sometimes you wake up and you don't feel like you're just that girl, so that song specifically…. if you listen to that song, you're gonna love it. I wanted to give back to women just like me, because some days I be feeling like I'm down, or I feel like I'm not that girl, some days.

GP: So how do you get in your zone?

Gloss Up: I get in my zone, some days I be feeling like I want to drink some Taylor Port, when I feel like my hair done, my makeup done, and I put on whatever I'm wearing for my show, I be feeling so good, and I be feeling so pretty, and it just give me the motivation to go and do what I'm supposed to do, what I came here for.

GP: You’re moving into entrepreneurship as well I hear. Tell us about your new lip gloss line.

Gloss Up: My new lip gloss line is called Glossy. I'm really excited about my lip gloss because I've been wanting lip gloss for years. I love lip gloss, Some days I wake up, I don't want to wear anything, no lashes, no makeup, I just be wanting to wear lip gloss, so I just think this is a good idea for me.

GP: What is your motivation? What Keeps you going?

Gloss Up: My main motivation for doing what I do is my kids. They are all I'm really worried about. .............. Want to read the full story?
