Los Angeles was the place to be last Thursday as Ellaé Lisqué, the bold womenswear brand built by Maxie J., celebrated a decade in fashion with The Combs Twins on the runway. The Avalon Hollywood lit up for a milestone runway show that felt more like a movement than just another fashion night out.
Hosted by Moe Diggs, the energy was unstoppable from the first look. The Combs Twins, Lakeyah, Dreezy, and Sky Days owned the runway in designs that captured everything Ellaé Lisqué stands for confidence, edge, and a touch of glamour that refuses to blend in. To take it up another notch, Compton’s own Chef Boy had the crowd on their feet with a live performance of his viral track “Gang Gang.”
The audience was just as packed with familiar faces as the runway. King Combs, Quincy Brown, Jessica Rich, LisaRaye, and Mariama Diallo were all spotted showing love, proving that Ellaé Lisqué has carved out not just a loyal customer base, but a true cultural following.

For Maxie J., this night wasn’t only about celebrating a brand. It was about celebrating resilience. An Inglewood native, she’s spent the last ten years building Ellaé Lisqué into a label that champions women of every shape, size, and shade. Closing the show with her birthday glow and signature determination, Maxie reminded the crowd why her story matters:
“I really, really pray that my story inspires people to keep going. Everybody faces the trials and tribulations, but the key is to keep going. Give your life no other choice but to go the way you want it to go, and then your plan B is another way to make your plan A work.”
From a dream to a decade, Ellaé Lisqué’s story is one of grit, faith, and fashion that refuses to play small. If this anniversary show was any indication, Maxie J. is just getting started—and she’s bringing every woman who dares to be unapologetically bold along with her.
