Grind Pretty Fest 2026: A Powerful Celebration of Beauty, Business, and Bold Community

Grind Pretty Fest touched down in Houston on April 25-26, for an unforgettable weekend celebrating women in business, culture, and community. From powerful conversations and meaningful connections to high-energy performances and real dollars poured back into entrepreneurs, the experience delivered on every level.

Saturday brought the energy. Attendees showed up ready to learn, connect, and celebrate. Panels covered everything from wealth building and entrepreneurship to beauty business growth and brand elevation. The room wasn’t just inspired. It was activated.

The vibe shifted into fun line dancing led by Daj which brought the entire room together. And just when you thought it couldn’t get more fun, a live performance by Lil Flip, taking us back with classics that had the crowd on their feet. Pure joy, real community, and a reminder that business and celebration can coexist.

Sunday elevated the experience even further with the Grind Pretty Awards Brunch, where excellence was recognized and legacy was honored.

We proudly celebrated our incredible honorees:
Joni Odum, Jekwenta "Coach K" Primm, Alaina Saulsberry, Malinda Williams, and DJ Spinderella — each representing excellence, impact, and legacy in their respective industries.

The People’s Voice Awards highlighted community love and support, with congratulations to Sonia White for Woman of Impact Award, Billysia Pierce for Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and Dr. Shaundra Webb for Corporate Baddie Award, along with all of the incredible nominees who continue to show up and make an impact.

A major highlight of the weekend was pouring back into women entrepreneurs through Grind For Good. We awarded $7500 in grant funding, reinforcing our commitment to not just inspire, but invest.

Congratulations to:
For The Few Intimates, supported by $5K pitch sponsor Michelby & Co
Shayla Ansah Collection, supported by $2,500 pitch sponsor Firstline Brands

This is what it looks like when community meets opportunity.

We are deeply grateful to our premiere sponsors Firstline Brands, Planned Parenthood, and Black Girl Vitamins for believing in the vision and helping us bring this experience to life.

Special thanks to our community sponsors 5 Starr Tax Professionals,  Jenny Beauty Supply, Soho Realty and Mortgage, Girlboss Suites, and Intriguing Hair, and to our beverage sponsors Le Kool Champagne, Highway Vodka, and Cashmere Luxe Cognac for adding that extra touch of celebration.

Grind Pretty Fest continues to grow because of the women who show up, pour in, and believe in something bigger than themselves.
